Using ExplainEverything app

Today (Tuesday 4th August) Mrs Grant and Elena showed us how to use ExplainEverything app.

We have been learning how to take a screenshot in our Ipads by holding the Home button and the sleep button at the same time

Look what Palu created...

He can draw an Ipad using the pencil by changing the width of the pencil and the colour.

Palu took at screenshot of his Ipad and inserted it onto his pencil drawing.

Palu is so clever.

Then.... Mrs Grant noticed we were colouring in our shapes. She showed us how to use the bucket fill tool to colour in our shapes.

We drew balloons and shapes and used the bucket tool to fill it.

Wow.. Look what Palu created as well.

Room 11 is lucky to have some experts to help use ExplainEverything app.

We made it to the Finals of Glenbrae's Got Talent

Christina, Vaiana, Fatima, Kira (Room 8) and Simon

Glenbrae's Got Talent is happening at school. We all love dancing. Together we learnt and practice a cook dance together.

We had our auditions and danced infront of Mrs Patea, Mrs Naidoo and Mrs Kelly.

They all liked our dancing.

We made it to the finals!!!

Come to Glenbrae's Got Talent on Friday 7th August 2020 in at 10am in our school hall.

On Friday 24th July Glenbrae school gathered together to plant our fruit trees.

Each class had a fruit tree to plant.

Daniel and Fatima planted Room 11's fruit tree.

Our First Te Reo Maori Lesson Term 3

Our names are Haloti, Daniel, Tini and Palu.
We are going to retell our experience in our first Te Reo Maori lesson today.

This morning we went to Room 12 to learn about the Maori language. Our kaiako is Koka Anahera.

We introduced ourselves to her by tell her our name, age and what we did in the holidays.

Today we learnt how to say a karakia (prayer)

As a class we are going to learn and practise saying this karakia.

Thank you Room 11 families for making term 2 a successful term.

Thank you to all the families who came (and the phone calls) to our Student Learning Conferences. It was very successful to get to know our loving and amazing families.

It was a great way to end the term with our Glenbrae Matariki ball.
