Matariki - Tree Planting

Matariki - Tree Planting

On Friday 24th July Glenbrae school gathered together to plant our fruit trees.

Each class had a fruit tree to plant.
Daniel and Fatima planted Room 11's fruit tree.

Fatima and Daniel are getting ready to plant our tree with some help from the senior students.

Here is Room 11 with our fruit tree.

Smile Room 11, let's get ready to plant our tree.

  1. Kia ora Room 11. It looks like your class had a great time planting your fruit tree. I am sure we all can't wait for the trees to grow so we can eat the fruit. This is a special time for Glenbrae School planting trees to commemorate Matariki and our very own school Pataka that we are growing. Can't wait to read all the learning, creating and sharing of your learning for this term.

  2. Hi Vaiana

My favourite fruit is Mango. I am really looking forward to seeing our fruit trees grow so we can enjoy them and eat them. We need to remember to check on our fruit trees and water them and give them some good nourishment so they can grow.
