Week 11 Kelly Sports

 Today for Kelly Sport we had Lucas come and take us for cooperative games!!

We played three games and we were tired from doing lots of running.

We played, Snowball tag, Head, shoulders, knees, toes and cone, Round the sheep and Shark Island.

Snowball tag was a game we played with Bart last week. It was lots of fun. 

Round the sheep was a fun tag game.

The aim of the game was to tag and get all the sheep - the class to run around the boundary of the game.

Our last game was Shark Island. This a was a really fun game to play with Lucas.

You have 1 tagger - the Shark to tag as many people. Once tagged you go out to the cones and do 5 star jumps. Then you join again.

There are Islands you stand on and you are SAFE for only three seconds.. then you have to run again.

We had so much fun.  Thank you so much Lucas and Bart from Kelly Sports. We look forward to term 2's Kelly Sport sessions.

Week 9 Kelly Sports 

We love it when Bart from Kelly Sports come to our school. 

Our first game is called 'Happy Hat, sad hat'

We are in 2 teams.

1 team is happy hats and together they run around to turn the cones UP.

1 team is sad hats, together they run around to turn the cones DOWN.

At the end of 2 mins.. we counts the cones facing up and down.

The team with the most WINS..

Ready, set...'GO'

Our next game we played together with Bart was 'Ice Cream cone Catch'

We had to pair up with a buddy. Our buddy was opposite us on another line.

1 of us had a cone and the other a tennis ball. The object of the game was to work together to throw the ball into the cone.

Thank you Bart and Kelly Sports for coming to Glenbrae school. We had so much fun!!!

Today with Bart we played 2 cool games.

We played Octopus tag.

Red light, Green light.
