Day 2 - Term 2 - Making Home Contact.

Kia Orana Room 4 parents,

Another day of lockdown during our school term. A big 'Thank you to the parents I contacted today and had great catch up about your child. I love how you can describe your child and what helps your child to learn and what stops them from learning and the support needed. 

Thank you so much to parents who are sending me photos and I am able to share them here on our class blog.

First of all, let's take one day at a time together.

I am so blessed to be your teacher and for the families I have contacted, thank you so much. I am enjoying ringing and talking with parents and students, texting and emailing.

Hi Parents and Caregivers of Room 4, I am the new teacher in Room 4, Mrs Anne Forsyth. I have been teaching at Roscommon School in Clendon, Manurewa for the past 16 years in the junior and middle syndicate and I am blessed to be appointed to be the new teacher in Room 4. 

I am so grateful to Whaea Sangita who has worked extremely hard in Room 4 while I finished at Roscommon School during term 1. 

I look forward to building good, positive and strong relationships with your child and your families. I firmly believe in strong home and school partnership relationships to support your child learning at school and at home. 

I believe in helping your child to reach their potential and striving for excellence by developing and having self confidence to try their best and becoming the better versions of themselves in everything they do.

Lastly, Room 4 will be a class where they will become 21st century learners where they can learn to work collaboratively, communicate their ideas and learning, problem solve together and be critical thinkers of events happening around them.

At this present time, where we are not physically at school, I wish you all to keep safe, stay well and be kind.

I look forward to to working and learning from Room 4 and the community.
