Room 3 loves to celebrate language weeks. This week is Cook Island language week.

The theme is 'Atuitui'ia au ki te Oneone o toku'Ui Tupuna

'Connect me to the soil of my ancestors'

We love learning a Cook Island dance to perform and share our culture with our school.

Here we are dancing, Jaeliyah, Vaiana, Kira and Diamond. The rest of group are dancing on the stage with Mrs Forsyth. We danced to the song, Tamaka Reebok.

Our School Matariki Ball

On Wednesday 30 June 2021, we had our school Matariki ball to celebrate the Maori New Year and come together as a school and dance and eat delicious food.

We had dressed up, our theme was 'Bling, bling, bling' Everybody looked so beautiful. 

We even learnt a dance to perform.

Room 3's Cyber Smart Learning

 

Today Room 3 had the best time with Mr Goodwin during our Cyber Smart session exploring remove background.
