Our Train driver / Conductor

We travelled on the bus to the train station. The bus drivers job important because he/she can drive lots of people around to shops or to their jobs.
Without our bus drivers we can take our cars, walk or bikes. By Palu.

Our train ride was so much fun. We love how fast it can go.
The train has the same job as the bus, but it travels on the electric rails. It was fun going through the tunnels for we played a game holding our breathe. By Daniel

There is lots of work at the train station. So many people doing lots of jobs.
We were allowed to go into a control room where there are a lot of tv's and computers and people watching the trains and tell them where they are going and how long. By Vaiana

We loved the Ferry ride to Devonport. It is fun travelling on the water. On the ferry they carry lots of people on the water to go the city. By Kalolaine.

Our Visitor - Police Officer Fiona

Community Helper - Police Office Fiona

Police Officer Fiona came to our school to talk to us about her job.

Her job is important because she and other officers help keep our community safe.

Constable Fiona explained to us they work hard to help us and keep our school safe.
She showed us her items that carries on her.
A baton, her protection vest and pepper spray a pager too.

We had fun looking around and sitting in the police car.
