I am back at Glenbrae School

My name is Christina  and I have come back to Glenbrae school. I am 7 years old and I am in Room 11.

In Room 11 we do lots of work and learning on our Ipads going on our class sites.

My favourite thing to do is going on our class blog and reading the comments.

I am new to Room 11 and Glenbrae School

My name is Tavake Taito and I am 7 years old.




I am working on my All about Me worksheet. My teacher is going to take a photo and put my worksheet and photo on the wall in our classroom.



I like working and learning on the Ipads. I am learning to use the Ipads to do my maths, reading and writing activities.

We are learning to point to the words.

In our group is Penisimani, Alex, Jordan and Simon.
Awesome readers can listen, repeat and point to the words.

Jordan is busy writing his ideas about what makes him happy.

Simon is busy writing his sentence all by himself.

Alex can put his sentence together and write underneath it.

Peni can plan his writing by drawing his ideas.

Work we are proud of in Room 4....

Christina is proud of her work because...she really likes her picture. 

It shows her dog having puppies. 

Layla had x7 puppies, there were 3 boys and 4 girls.

Fatima is proud of her work because...my writing is REALLY neat and sits on the line. 

I tried my best and it looks like it is a good story.

Sela is proud of her work because... her picture is awesome. It show her baking at home. 

Kira is proud of her writing because...it has lots of good ideas.  

The story is about feelings and knowing what to do with your feelings.

Mose is proud of his writing because...he thought about all of his words in the story.

He tried REALLY hard to sound out his words and used his word card to help him.

We are Room 11

The MOVE from Room 4 to the School Hall to Room 11

Mrs Forsyth got Room 4 ready...

But then... our junior block is packing up to move into the senior block. But Room 4's class we were moving to was not ready...

Our senior students are so strong.

Rooms 11 and 12 are being carpeted.

So... Room 4 moved into the side room of the hall.

We continued to do our best in our learning.

Look what started to happen to our junior block.

Finally, we were so patience for Room 11 to be ready..

Mrs Forsyth got our class ready with some help.

We love our classroom in Room 11.

We are settled into Room 11 and we love learning and working together in our new classroom.

What a journey for our class.

Room 11's Cyber Smart Learning

Purpose: Talking to people we can see. Because when we are online, we can not see who we are really talking to.

We are Learning to talk to people we can see.

Success Criteria:

Move around the class and talk to someone new face to face.

Speak in sentences to my class peers.

Fatima - I like talking to people that are close to me.

Shane - I like the people in front of me.

Daniel - I like writing on other people sheet.

Iverson - I like the activity because people can write on my bingo paper.

Tini - When I can't see who I am talking to on line, it is very tricky.

Kira - I would feel sad, upset and lonely when I can not see who I am talking to on line. It is easier to talk to someone face to face.
